Lailatulqadar is a great night in every Ramadan. It is also the night of the absolute relationship between the earth and the realm of al-Mala’ul-A’la. On that night, the entire Qur'an was revealed to the heavens of the world before it was revealed in stages to the Prophet Muhammad SAW as Allah said "Indeed, We have sent down (the Qur'an) on the night of Lailatul Qadar." (Al-Qadr: 1) Finding the night of lailatul qadar is a sunnah because Rasulullah SAW according to the hadith narrated by Imam Ahmad and Muslim stated that he tried his best on the last 10 nights of Ramadan more than any other night.
Regarding the story and narration that is said to have taken place that night, we need to investigate to what extent it coincides with the Qur'an and the hadith of the Prophet SAW. Many of the views of some companions and scholars about it are the views of Imam Ghazali. According to him, tonight can be known through:
If the beginning of Ramadan is on Sunday or Wednesday, then lailatulqadar is on the night of 29 Ramadan.
If the beginning of Ramadan is on Monday, lailatulqadar is on the night of 21 Ramadan.
If the beginning of Ramadan is on Tuesday or Friday, then lailatulqadar is on the night of 27 Ramadan.
If the beginning of Ramadan is on Thursday, lailatulqadar is on the night of 25 Ramadan.
If the beginning of Ramadan is on Saturday, then lailatulqadar is on 23 Ramadan.
In addition to that sign, tonight can also be identified by several signs, namely:
.
That night, the sky looked pure and holy.
The moon shone fresh and brightly lit.
The air is comfortable, neither cold nor hot.
The sky is not disturbed by stars.
The sun in the morning emits a balanced light like the light of a full moon.
However, lailatulqadar is a secret whose wisdom is for Muslims to continue to seek by doubling their deeds of worship. Rasulullah said “The month of Ramadan has come to you with blessings, Allah envelops you, then he sends down mercy and removes sins. Allah SWT allows prayers in that month. Allah also saw the race between you in Ramadan and conveyed His pride over you to the angels. To prove your goodness to Him. Indeed, the wretched person is the one who is kept away or forbidden by Allah from receiving His mercy. ” (History of Tabarani)
